This was announced by the Registrar of the board, Prof. Ishaq O. Oloyede. Therefore, candidates are advised to hurry and get themselves ready for the registration. Registration will start on 2Oth March, 2017 and end on 19th April, 2017.

JAMB 2017/2018 registration is live now and ongoing. See details of the requirements, registration process and closure date of the exam. However, you need to bear in mind that there is nothing like Pen and Pencil this time around. The Registrar has announced that the exam will be fully on CBT basis.

Please don’t rush to register or give your money to anyone for this registration as the registration has not yet started. Note the following institutions which are available for admission from JAMB 2017/2018.
- First Degree
- National Innovation Diploma (NID)
- National Diploma (ND)
- Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programmes
- Innovation Enterprise Institutes
- Including other Degree-Awarding Institutions
- Colleges of Education
Meanwhile, this year’s higher institution admission is going to be easy as many institutions are not out for post screening examinations. However, interested candidates are advised to study hard and go through JAMB syllables for 2017/2018 as all the questions are going to come from there.

All applicants of JAMB 2017/2018 registration should ensure that they obtain the following upon registration.
- A soft copy of JAMB 2017/2018 Syllabus for the examination
- And the Admission procedures and requirements of Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria which also include the available programs of study in the institutions
These are important as they will help the applicants to prepare better for the examination. Also, candidates are advised to read a novel titled “The Last Days At Forcados High School” by A.H. Mohammed and other important books.
Now, let’s see the registration procedure for the exam. Follow the steps below when the registration commences on Monday, 20th March and remember that JAMB will not be reliable of any illegal registration and there’s no refund of money after payment.
JAMB 2017/2018 Registration Procedure
- Visit any of the under- listed banks and pay a total sum of N5,500 to obtain your JAMB form. JAMB Form is N4,300 while the CBT Centre Service Fee is N700 and JAMB Mandatory Textbook is N500, making it a total of N5,500

2. Thereafter, proceed to any of the officially approved JAMB CBT centers around you and complete the other registration requirements.
Note: JAMB 2017/2018 Examination will hold between May 6th and 20th, 2017. May, 12th is excluded because of candidates writing WAEC Further Mathematics.
