Real Madrid star and Portuguese striker, Cristiano Ronaldo has broken yet another record this football after scoring 2goals in Real Madrid 2-1 win against Sporting Gijon.

The Saturday match which placed Real Madrid at 7points ahead of second-place Barcelona was a challenging one for the La Liga top team as they barely defeated Sporting.

However, Madrid’s top player, Ronaldo helped the team to take 3points from Sporting Gijon by scoring 2goals.

With these goals and the three he scored against Atletico Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo has won the Los Blanco’s award.

However, the team’s couch, Zinedine Zidane has expressed dissatisfaction with the team win against Sporting Gijon, saying that he expected more from his boys.

Zidane said, “We have the match at our hands with the advantage of home play, I expected more but I think the rain brought less concentration.”

“I’m not very happy with how we played, but that can happen sometimes. We could have made it three or four, but instead they scored and went in at half-time feeling better,” he said.

Meanwhile, these two goals have placed Ronaldo two place ahead of his Barcelona opponents Lionel Messi and Luiz Suarez.

Ronaldo is the first in the year’s Calendar to score 30+ goals and he is the only player that has done that for seven calendar year now. He has been doing since this session, also with his three (3) goals hat-trick in their 3-0 win against Atletico Madrid last week at Vicente Calderon stadium, Madrid.

Now, Real Madrid is at top of La Liga’s champion’s list with Barcelona being coming 2nd and Sevilla 3rd.
